Internetphonebook.net
Internetphonebook.net is a printed publication for exploring the vast poetic web.
It brings together hundreds of personal websites alongside essays and observations about the web as a medium for creative expression. At its heart, the Internet Phone Book is about connecting people. Each website is listed with its own telephone number, which readers can dial using Dial-a-Site to visit the site and meet the person behind it. The book is a low-tech invitation to discover the web through its inhabitants.
Issue One
Issue One, published in 2025, features more than 700 websites by designers, developers, artists, writers, curators, educators, and other internet people. It had two sold-out print-runs and has since found its way into libraries, bookshops, and collections around the world, including the National Library of Greece, the National Library of Scotland, and the British Film Institute Library.
Issue Two
The next edition is in development.
Made in collaboration with Elliott Cost.
